What We Do

The vision of GRGCAS is “to be a leader in providing best-in-class learning and development programmes in management for working professionals”.

We offer focused and specialised programmes in management, aimed at working professionals. We also offer management programmes in specifically identified domains/disciplines in partnership with industry.

The core purpose of GRGCAS is, ‘preservation and promotion of professional management’; it implies preserving the core principles and concepts of management theory that evolved over the past one hundred years and, creating and evolving new ideas and concepts for the future; all these relating to the practice of management discipline; very similar to profession of chartered accountant, medical doctor, or legal counsel.

We have entered into a collaborative partnership with TAPMI (TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal) to design, develop, and offer jointly short, medium and long term programmes in management. TAPMI is a premier management institute in India, consistently ranked among the Top 20, and internationally accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

At GRGCAS, we offer programmes that are designed specifically to meet the emerging demands of working professionals; hence, our programmes fall broadly into three categories - short term, medium term, and long term.

  • Short Term Programmes are of 1-14 days' duration. Some of such programmes planned for January - April 2017 include:

Value Proposition

  • Enhancing Organisational Performance
  • Active Experiential Learning
  • Multiple Formats
  • Competent Facilitators
  • Peer Learning

The primary objective of our programmes is to help organisations in preparing and developing identified employees with potential for higher positions in future. This will ensure availability of required number of executives / managers who can take over from current incumbents as and when contingencies arise in future.

Our programmes will help organisations enhance the performance of their executives and managers at all levels.

Experiential Learning is an integral core of all the programmes conducted by GRGCAS. Participants learn by doing, by active experimentation, and sharing real-life experiences

At GRGCAS, we believe that the best of learning takes place from peers and from active participation in the learning sessions

The programmes conducted by GRGCAS will be in multiple formats - short term, medium term, long term; weekend, weekday; evening only and through the day; full time and part-time. This concept provides flexibility in learning for the learner.

The idea behind the flexibility of formats is that the learner should learn at his/her own pace, time, place, and convenience.

All the programmes offered by GRGCAS are anchored by facilitators who are qualified, experienced and competent in their area of expertise. This ensures learning best practices and most updated knowledge.

The facilitators bring to the table vast years of industry and academic experience. They add value by relating the conceptual framework to practical application. They supplement what is in the book with what is in practice.

Peer learning essentially refers to students learning with and from each other as fellow learners without any implied authority to any individual, based on the tenet that “students learn a great deal by explaining their ideas to others and by participating in activities in which they can learn from their peers” (Boud, 2001).

In peer learning, students will construct their own meaning and understanding of what they need to learn. Essentially, students will be involved in searching for, collecting, analysing, evaluating, integrating and applying information to complete an assignment or solve a problem. Thus, students will engage themselves intellectually, emotionally and socially in “constructive conversation” and learn by talking and questioning each other’s views and reaching consensus or dissent (Boud, 2001).

At GRGCAS, peer learning is accentuated through extensive industry network. Participants enhance their learning through active interaction with practitioners from other companies/industries. Talks by experts from industry provide useful perspectives.

We offer short, medium, and long term programmes that are company-specific at clients’ premises as well as industry/domain/topic specific programmes at GRGCAS campus in multiple formats.

The duration of short term programmes will be 1-14 days; medium term programmes, upto 3 months; and, long term programmes upto 15 months

Multiple Formats

The multiple formats for programmes would include

(a) week-end (b) week-day evening (c) week-day regular   (d) two-week breakouts (e) online-offline (f) theory-practice combo (g) short, medium, long term and (h) experiential/ consultative
